Indian vice captain Rahul Dravid today emulated the legendary Donald Bradman when he scored his third successive double centuries in as many series in test cricket . His latest effort of 270 which remains his highest ever score , against Pakistan at Rawalpindi , follows his equally magnificent innings of 222 against New Zealand at Ahmedabad and 233 versus Australia at Adelaide - all registered during the on-going 2003-04 season

Bradman, in fact , has notched up as many as six double tons in three consecutive test innings in the early thirties - an achievement of staggering dimension indeed .
