India going places

The Indian cricket team is the most widely-travelled squad in the history of one day internationals.

The most experienced limited-overs outfit

'Team India' has played 576 ODIs on 108 different grounds all over the world at a quotient of 5.33 games per venue. India have played the maximum number of their games ( 72 ) at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The West Indies are the only other team to appear on more than hundred grounds , having played 505 matches on 102 grounds at a quotient of 4.95 . None of the other nations has been able to complete this rather rare 'century' of grounds. Pakistan , New Zealand , Sri Lanka and Australia are in their nineties. Pakistan and Sri Lanka have also played most of their games at Sharjah, which is understandable considering the frequent limited-overs tournaments that used to held there in the past. All other nations have played the most on grounds in their own countries .
