India pocketed the seven-match one-day series against Sri Lanka with consecutive and comprehensive wins in the first four games.

For once, the Indian team did not take the foot off the accelerator after gaining an early lead. There have been six instances of 'Team India' getting off to a flying start in a one-day series, only to lose steam and end up second-best
